VIA TRIBUNAL UPHILL RACE AND HIGH MOUNTAIN RUN ÄKÄSLOMPOLO
Roller skiing 29.7.2022 + Mountain running 30.7.2022
DAY 1: On the first day in Ylläs roller-skiing, the route runs from the Jouni´s Kauppa area up to the Y1 lift station along the Musti´s ascent. Climb a total of 165 meters.
You can participate in both Ylläs mountain running and Ylläs roller-skiing as a single competition.
DAY 2: On the second day, there is competition in high mountain running to the top of Ylläs, where the total ascent is about 511 meters. The route runs from the center of the village through the Isometta uphill to the service road and the top of Ylläs to the finish.
Stay tuned and come and test your fitness for the toughest uphill race in Finland!

Series: M, W and series 18 yrs W and M
Competition day 2 SATURDAY 30.7: time 10 am
Running Interval slots for all series. Separated competition.

Keep in touch with distances. Take care of hands and other hygiene. If you have any symptoms do not enter the competition area.

TRAFFIC DURING COMPETITIONS
All competitors must come down from the finish by car. The bus transport is close to the finish of the competition. Under no circumstances should the route be lowered.

EQUIPMENTS
There is no separate equipment storage on behalf of the organizers, but the competitor is responsible for the storage of own equipment during the competitions.

Jounin Kauppa’s parking places are available to competitors.

at 11.00 a.m Men 2nd run with interval start
at 12.00 Women 4.2 km chase
at 12.30 Men 4.2 km chase
Series 18 yrs W and M race: Start time to be determined later.
The competition and training program is preliminary. The organizer reserves the right to make changes due to weather, etc. The safety of competitors is the determining factor.

TRAINING
Training allowed on the Ylläs ascent track before the race. The tracks will be closed 10 minutes before the first start on the cycle paths near the start, in the marked area.
TEAM LEADERS ´ MEETING
A competitor who becomes overtaken must limit his skiing so that the person behind him has an unobstructed opportunity to overtake.
The person coming from behind must clearly overtake the bypass.
Ensure sufficient distance to each other
PRIZES AND AWARD DISTRIBUTION
Friday’s prizes will be awarded to the top three at the end of the competitions. In the roller-ski competition in the M and N series, prizes will be awarded to the top five competitors. The place of the prizing will be announced by announcement.
